Excel insert rows tutorial

This is a guide on how to insert row or multiple rows in Excel 2007 and 2010. It is very easy to add more rows or columns in Excel 2007 and 2010. Here are step by step instructions:
  1. If you need to insert only one row, right click on any row number (on the left side of the data sheet) and select insert from the opening menu. This will insert a new row to the spot you clicked on.

 If you need to insert more than one row:
  1. Select as many rows as you wish to insert (tip: if you press and hold down ctrl button from your keyboard, you can choose multiple rows at the same time. You can also drag choose the rows you want, if they are right next to each other).
  2. Right click on any row number of the selected rows and choose insert.

You can delete rows by right clicking on the number of the row and selecting delete from the opening menu.
